Curls Goddess Curls Gel vs. Garnier Fructis pure clean gel

So when it comes to gels. Thus far, I’ve only tried Curls, loreal, and Garnier Pure clean.

After experiencing Garnier Curls is no longer a satisfying option. I guess it wasn’t staple material after all. Here are some qualities that made garnier stand out against curls, which ive been using since I lost (or somebody took) my loreal.

SHRINKAGE

Garnier is a heavier gel than Curls and I don’t get as much shrinkage as I do with curls. Which is great because with shrinkage comes matting which leads to a harder detangling session or even hair loss. speaking of,

TANGLES

Using Curls after having used the garnier I notice that I have a lot more tangles than I did before. This is definitely the difference in hold that each gel gives. Garnier holds my detangled curls in place cause if its strength in hold while with curls, throughout the day as my hair dries it starts doing its own thing. My hair feels the same with both product just the hold is better with the other which can lead to more

STRETCHING

I mean that as in stretching the days. On Sunday I used the Garnier after wash day. I went to sleep with my hair out. The next day was the best second day hair I’ve had. That night I pulled it back with my silk wrap and woke up and my puff was extremely cute and I could’ve had 3rd day hair if I wanted. But I used curls yesterday. And even before I went to bed I knew the result weren’t going to be the same. And my hair feels kind of matted at the crown. Again it’s because of the hold.

I’m going to do a test with the garnier and see how long I can go without restyling. But yea. In this battle Garnier Fructis, they got the belt. Hold it down if nothin else *schoolboy q voice*
